BF is responsible for selecting and entering Great Britain individuals and teams at Senior, U23, Junior (U20), Cadet (U17) and Under 14 level for EFC and FIE international competitions.
BF also delivers funded GBR programmes, including the Sport England and SkillsActive‑funded GBR Pathway Programme. This programme provides additional support and development opportunities for identified athletes and coaches on a pathway towards international success.
The Home Country Associations are responsible for selecting Home Country representational teams at Senior, Junior and Cadet level, including the Commonwealth Championships and other Home Country representational events and internationals.
