
This page is intended to provide instructions around the use of GBR tracksuits at Major Events ( all major championships)

Athletes that are selected for European and World Championships (Cadet, Junior, U23 and Senior) are entitled to wear the GBR Championships Tracksuit.
A password is available on request for athletes to purchase additional items from the Championship range. This password should not be shared with anyone. The range is exclusive to athletes that have been selected for major championships.
In accordance with the FIE rules the Official National Tracksuit must be worn in full on podiums. (No club tracksuits, cycling shorts, leggings etc)
Athletes are not permitted to add any additional logo (eg sponsorship) or designs to the Official National Tracksuit without permission from BF.
Athletes are nor permitted to use the GBR logos to create their own team wear (either within weapon or squad).
Kit Requirements (Effective from 1st January 2026)
At the end of team events, athletes must appear in full fencing kit or their national tracksuit.
Warm-up & Training
Fencers must wear full fencing kit during all warm-up and training sessions at official FIE competitions. This includes breeches, long socks, jacket, glove, and mask.

Clothing for Coaches and Team Captains – While inside the Field of Play, coaches and team captains must wear full-length trousers, a top that covers the torso and shoulders, and closed shoes. At World Championships, they are required to wear the official tracksuit of the country they represent.
At World Championships, coaches and team captains must wear their country’s tracksuit when inside the Field of Play.
For World Student, European and Olympic Games the official tracksuits are provided separately as these tracksuits will be the same across the multiple sports.
For Veteran events, tracksuits are arranged through British Veteran Fencing.
