The Ombudsman

If you have a complaint about British Fencing, you should first try to resolve the matter by making a complaint as described in the Complaints policy which can be found here.

In the event that your complaint is not resolved through this process, in certain circumstances it may be appropriate to taking up a grievance or disciplinary case as explained here.

If you feel that the process undertaken by the Disciplinary and Grievance process, CEO or Chair has not been handled correctly, you can contact the Ombudsman, Gillian Fleming.

The role of the Ombudsman is clearly defined within the Bye Laws which can be found by clicking here.

Gillian Fleming can be contacted direct by telephone on 01904 640620 or email [email protected].  Alternatively you can write to her c/o British Fencing, 1 Baron’s Gate, 33-35 Rothschild Road, London W4 5HT, marked private and confidential.
