ADJUSTED OLYMPIC RANKING DATA PUBLISHED

Publication of the Adjusted Olympic Ranking Data, including potential athletes competing in the Olympic Zonal events for GB athletes.

Dashboard

To support the GBR athletes on their journey to Paris 2024, the ADP team have produced the following information dashboard:

 

The purpose of this dashboard is:

• To track the progress of the GB athletes on the road to Paris 2024.
• Where a weapon fails to qualify a team directly, the data identifies those athletes in line to achieve direct qualification for the Olympic Games through the two unique places given to the European Zone.
• To help fencers competing for the final individual space at the European Olympic Zonal event understand how they compare to other GB athletes and whether they meet the qualification standards.

This ranking supports delivering the 2024 Olympic Games Nomination Policy and selection for the European Zonal event.

 

Important Note – There is a key difference between the BF ranking and the FIE ranking data. FIE satellite events will count for the FIE Ranking but not for the BF Adjusted Olympic Ranking. So, there may be subtle differences between the two ranking lists after the FIE satellite events.

Guidance Notes:

GB Athletes are highlighted in dark blue.

French athletes may be eligible for host places and may appear if the team is not ranked within the qualifying places. They appear as a mid-blue colour.

Athletes from a country whose team ranks them in the qualifying places are omitted. They will reappear should any of those countries’ ranking change leading to the Games.
