British Fencing has revealed a new audio logo, to be used on the Be You, Be Different podcast and across digital assets. The logo will accompany visuals at the end of video content and will be heard at events and on the British Fencing app, to be launched early 2019.
The 5 second logo was created by Dr Joe Lyske, an expert in artificial intelligence and music composition. The audio logo is intended to sound modern and exciting. Briefed on insights into British Fencing’s younger audience that includes a high proportion of gamers and creatives, Dr Lyske used sounds from computer games and sword clashes to create a fencing logo for a new generation. He says, “It was great to work with British Fencing on this new logo. Their approach is timely as more brands start to move into audio identity.”
