BF AWARDS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please ensure you have read the BF Awards 2024-25 criteria for all award categories, as this is which the independent panel will judge the nominations against.

1. All nominees must hold a valid BF membership. You will be asked for the nominee’s BF number and contact information when completing the nomination form. Nominees may be contacted by BF for further information regarding their nomination, and to ask whether they would like to be considered for the awards.

2. You are not limited to the number of categories in which you can nominate, however only one nomination per category is allowed, per BF member.

3. Any incomplete nominations will be deemed invalid and will not considered by the panel.

4. Winners of the awards will be decided by an independent panel. Panelists may not come from a fencing background, therefore please do not assume any prior knowledge of the person you are nominating. Ensure you include as much information as is relevant to the nomination.

5. BF reserves the right to move a nomination to a different category to ensure they are within the most appropriate category.

6.  All nominations are vetted by BF staff prior to being included in the shortlisting process.

Nominations opened Monday 13th October 2025 for the for 2024-25 Awards. They will close at midnight on the 14th December 2025.

Please note that all nominees must have held the appropriate valid BF Membership for the Year 2024-25.
