An Introduction to Coaching Fencing (ITCF) course will be held at Paul Davis Fencing Academy, in St Albans, on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd October 2022 for fencers looking to start their coach education journey.
Candidates will get started in a fencer-centred approach to coaching and be challenged to start developing their coaching philosophy. After completion of the training, coaches will be ready to run group sessions, correct basic fencing technique,

The recommended level of fencing experience is 12 months of practice, and the minimum age to participate is 18 years old. 16 and 17-year-olds are welcome to join, with a recommendation letter from their coach.
