British Fencing is looking for candidates to join a new Referee Pathway Programme.

The aim of this programme is to train and support members aiming to be selected to referee for Great Britain at such events as the World Championships and the Olympics.

This programme will initially focus on the major championships leading up to the 2020 Olympics but participants in the pathway will be expected to continue refereeing at International level for British Fencing for a number of years after 2020.

The Referee Pathway Programme will be open to all members of British Fencing, although priority may be given to those with current refereeing qualifications or international fencing experience.

If you wish to be considered for this programme for the ’14/’15 season please contact RefCom via Head Office briefly detailing why you think you are suitable by the 31st July.
