2026 will be a year of renewal and change across British Fencing (BF) as it seeks to build on its exciting new strategy. The British Fencing Charitable Fund (BF Charity) is seeking to strengthen its role to support fencing, with an initial focus on developing a new fundraising strategy.
The BF Charity is looking to appoint a Chair who will play a pivotal and inspiring role in shaping the future of the charity. You will provide strategic leadership to the Board of Trustees, ensuring the BF Charity remains true to its mission while driving it forward with energy, clarity, and purpose. Working closely with new and existing trustees, you will create an environment where good governance thrives, innovative ideas can flourish, and the BF Charity’s impact is continually strengthened.
We are seeking someone who can inspire donors, champion impactful campaigns, and harness the power of fencing to make great things happen. If you bring energy, vision, and a talent for turning ideas into action, we would love to welcome you to the team.
We welcome applicants with and without fencing experience, and from a diverse set of backgrounds.
