The first British Ranking Competitions (BRCs) for Cadet and Junior age groups are scheduled to take place in July, the first ranking events to take place for the 2021-2022 season.
After a long break from competition due to the COVID pandemic, we are pleased to share the proposed start to the competition season. These may be subject to change if the government or COVID restrictions changes for events and indoor sport.
The proposed dates and venues provisionally planned are:
Epee
Date: 17th – 18th July
Venue: Manchester Fencing Centre
Foil
Date: 17th-18th and/or 24th-25th July*
Venue: TBC
Sabre
Date: 17th – 18th July
Venue: Queenswood School, St. Albans
We are not intending to hold any ranking events during the month of August.
Further details about the seasons planned calendar, the amended and new ranking schemes and new selection document that will apply to this season, will be issued in the coming weeks ready for consultation.
