It’s time to take your club online!

On the 3rd September 2018, British Fencing launched a brand new Activity Finder in partnership with fibodo (find, book, do) that will allow clubs to advertise their products and services to potential new members within their communities via the British Fencing and fibodo websites. The advances in digital technology and the country’s expectance on phones, tablets and computers to support everyday lives, means clubs must ensure they are visible online and have the capability to make attending the club as easy as possible whilst reducing administration time.

To provide clubs with a platform to achieve this, our partnership with fibodo will enable clubs too;

  • Create a branded club profile.
  • Increase online visibility by advertising bookable and free sessions, such as beginner courses, which will display on British Fencing and fibodo activity hubs.
  • Integrate with social media to increase reach and attract new audiences in your area.
  • Manage and communicate with participants and take payments directly from your profile.
  • Allow users to book via the fibodo app, which is a free download. Users can continue to pay for all fencing related activity this way under the British Fencing hub within the app.
  • You can read about the full functionality of fibodo by clicking here.

British Fencing is proud to be the first NGB to support fibodo in testing and developing an innovative new activity finder. This will enable affiliated clubs to advertise, and take payment for, a range of fencing activities, giving them a platform not previously available.
