My Coaching Philosophy
My forte is in the grass roots level.
Over the last 30 odd years I have been coaching in many of the local primary, secondary schools and colleges as well as in the local community clubs.
Having set up a '5 week introduction to fencing' plan, I have delivered this to 95% of the primary schools in East Durham and County Durham itself; many for the second, third or 4th time. This has ensured that the clubs has had a continuing income of new youngsters.
I also endeavour to establish long term fencing groups within secondary schools like Emmanuel College in Gateshead and Dame Allan in Newcastle Upon Tyne
