My Coaching Philosophy
The primary responsibility of the coach is to ensure they are only a resource for the student to learn and grow, not a source of pressure or coercion. The drive of the student should come from the inspiration they receive and the desire to put in work to improve themselves in a sport they love.

The only responsibility of the student is to continue to ask for the help of the coach only as long as they truly want it and feel the drive to work and improve.

Competitive results are both the natural reward for work and indicator of progress. Where progress stagnates and work does not result in improvement, it is the job of the coach to help the student to understand how the work must change to address the most limiting factor in performance. The reward for the coach is not the medal of the student, but the satisfaction of having successfully guided improvement.
