My Coaching Philosophy
Nuno is a dedicated Sabre coach with a rich academic background in Sport Science and Human Performance, holding a BSc and MSc from Brunel University London, and a PhD in Cardiovascular Physiology. His coaching philosophy is nurturing and athlete-centered, focusing on the holistic development of each fencer through personalised training plans and a deep integration of physiological knowledge to enhance performance. His approach not only aims to maximise athletic performance but also to foster a supportive environment that encourages personal and athletic growth.
