My Coaching Philosophy
My philosophy as a sabre coach is to create an environment where athletes feel both challenged and supported. I believe that having a firm grasp of the fundamentals gives fencers the confidence to trust their abilities and build a solid skillset. Alongside this, I emphasise the mental side of the sport, utilising mindfulness and strategic thinking to help create a truly holistic fencer.

Ultimately, I want my coaching to foster both enjoyment and success because fencing has played such a significant role in my own development. It taught me the value of hard work, discipline, and motivation, and I aim to pass those lessons on to others while supporting them to achieve their goals, whether recreational or competitive.
