Copenhagen Travel Guide

This page is a guide only. The page contains recommendations from either TMs, Referees or Parents from previous seasons.  Venues or official hotels may change for the current season so we recommend that you check the reglement’s before confirming any travel arrangements and if you are booking hotels before the reglement is out we advise you may want to consider booking with free cancellation as it is not guaranteed that competition details will stay the same.

Background Info
Copenhagen is the capital and most populous city of Denmark. Copenhagen is situated on the eastern coast of the island of Zealand; another small portion of the city is located on Amager, and it is separated from Malmö, Sweden, by the strait of Øresund. The Øresund Bridge connects the two cities by rail and road. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copenhagen

Important Information
It is helpful to the organisers to have your money for entry, transfers, etc. ready and in an envelope with your name on it – it makes finding your fencer easier on their list, and there will be less change of a mistake.  All of the organisers will give you a receipt when you pay entry fees, transfer fees, etc.  Remember – everyone working during check-in is a parent volunteer just like your self.  Please be patient!
