ENTRIES OPEN FOR JULY BRITISH RANKING COMPETITIONS

Entries open on BF’s membership platform for British Ranking Competitions (BRCs) for Cadet (u17) and Juniors (u20s) to be held in July.

Entries for July BRCs will open at 4pm today (Thursday 10th June 2021). To allow Junior age group fencers enough opportunity to enter their specific events, Entries to Junior competitions are limited to 17-19 year olds until Thursday 17th June. At this point, entries will be open for eligible age group fencers to enter the junior events (subject to any entry limits being reached).

Details of the events are as followed:

Epee – All categories

Date:  17th – 18th July    Venue: Manchester Fencing Centre

Cadet Men’s Foil

Date:  18th July

Venue: Leon Paul Centre

Junior Men’s Foil

Date:  25th July

Venue: Leon Paul Centre

Cadet Women’s Foil

Date:   24th July

Venue: Manchester Fencing Centre

Junior Women’s Foil

Date:  25th July

Venue: Manchester Fencing Centre

Sabre

Date: 17th – 18th July

Venue: Queenswood School, St. Albans

Fencers can enter the events through the BF Membership platform

Entry caps are in place in line with government COVID-19 restrictions. All events are subject to change if the government or COVID restrictions changes for events and indoor sport.

To allow Junior age group fencers enough opportunity to enter the Junior Events, Entries to Junior competitions are limited to 17-19 year olds until Thursday 17th July, at this point, entries will open for cadet age group fencers to enter the junior events (subject to entry limits being reached).

Cadet fencers will not be awarded Cadet ranking points for entering the Junior events.
