Target Group 14-18 Years via a Direct Invitation

SABRE

Coaching Team – Jon Salfield, Chris Buxton; Balazs Kurucz and Rhys Melia.

Focus Areas – Overview

  • Footwork technique in the middle 4m
  • Creating timing/situation for an attack on preparation in the middle 4m
  • Tactical use of attack on preparation against the long attack
  • Watching and analysing opponents during pools: developing a game plan for different opponents

EPEE

FOIL

Focus Areas -Overview

  • Pool fights: further development pool routine and maximising results in 5 point fights
  • Team matches: Extension on team routines and behaviour followed by team matches
  • Competition fencing scenario’s and exercises
  • Optimise the minute break (the 4 E’s)
  • Collapsing distance training exercises and footwork

GENERAL INFORMATION

ARRIVAL
Please arrive at the venue for a 10:00 start on Day 1 and 09:00 start on Day 2

DEPARTURE
Depart from the venue at  17:00 each day

Check to see if you have received an invitation for this camp. The invitation will come from infusionsoft, there will be a signing up page then you will receive an email with the link for the payment.  Your place on the camp is not confirmed until you have paid.

ACCOMMODATION
Fencers on the DiSE programmes can book accommodation if required via their  registration form (Booking form)
