ALL coaches must abide by the relevant BF policies including –The GBR Coaches Policy and BF Coaches Code of Conduct.

General Information

Entry Fees

Athletes must pay their own individual entry fees (55 euros) in advance using the link contained in the email sent on 2/7/2018.

BF will pay the team entry fees using money from the BF Charity and a patron donation.

 

Flights, travel and Visa’s

Athletes are expected to organise and pay for their own travel (flights and transfers), Visa’s and any accommodation outside of the accommodation booked for the team.

Whilst the Organising Committee are in theory providing Visa letters these are proving very difficult to obtain and athletes are advised to apply for a normal tourist Visa which only required hotel and flight reservation details.

 

Accommodation

The team hotel will be The Wuxi Grand Hotel which was the hotel selected by the athletes. All athletes must stay at this hotel.

The hotel is NOT an official hotel so athletes must arrange and pay locally for their own transport from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel and back again.

BF will reserve accommodation based on athletes arriving 2 nights before their 1st event and leaving the day after their final event. Athletes must pay the hotel directly on departure.

Funding

BF will subsidise the costs of the Chef de Mission (s).

BF will be trying to raise additional money to subsidise athletes competing in the World Championships.

All monies raised by the end of the World Championships on this funding page will be split equally between the athletes competing.

You can either choose to share that page or set up your own fundraising pages which links to that page. You may be able to use your fundraising pages to target donations to particular weapons if you like. The advantage of collecting donations through the BF Charity is that they will be eligible for gift aid.
