Notice to potential referees:
By contacting the organisers of an event you are giving them notification of your interest and availability. Until the organisers have confirmed with you directly that they wish to use your services, you should not make any non-refundable bookings. Contacting the organisers does not constitute a contract between a referee and the organisers and no financial liabilities arise between the referee and the organiser. Please also check any remuneration or expenses offered with the organisers directly.

Weapons and Level: Foil Level 2 and above.
Remuneration: Local referees are preferred for this event. Per diem is £80, but only reasonable/minimal expenses will be reimbursed. Accommodation is to be discussed with the referee coordinator (Joe Pearce).
Refreshments: Vouchers will be provided. Lunch will be provided at the venue in the on-site cafe.

Date: Saturday 30th March 2024 – Men’s Foil, Women’s Foil and Men’s Sabre
Sunday 31st March 2024 – Men’s Epee, Women’s Epee and Women’s Sabre
Times: 08.30 for referee briefing each day.

Weapons and level: All weapons Level 2 +
Remuneration: FIE £5, L4 £65, L2 £45 Any fencer refereeing after being eliminated from the competition will have their entry fee refunded (prior arrangement only). Full details of travel and accommodation expenses will be supplied in the referee request email sent 08.12.23.
Refreshment: Costa vouchers for food and drink.
Other Information: There is an option to undertake level 3 practical assessments at all three weapons. Please contact the organiser by 6pm on Friday the 16th of March 2024 to note your interest.

Referee coffee, Bacon rolls and briefing 9.15.
Times: 09.15 for briefing. Pools will start c09.45. Competitions have a staggered start throughout the day.

Remuneration: £75 plus travel for those further away – to be agreed with organiser before commitment – just ring Sarah to discuss. Priority given to those referees who can bring one or more referee in a car

Other Information: Friendly competition. Very supportive and involved organisation. Strong Welfare presence all day – wish to promote fair play, good manners and enjoyment for everyone.
