FIE World Cup Season resumes with Havana Foil Grand Prix
The senior international season resumes on 13th March with a men’s and women’s foil Grand Prix in Cuba.
Women’s Foil – Havana
The second of three foil Grand Prix events this season kicks off with the women’s competition. The first round begins at 1pm (GMT) on Friday and will include Lisa McKenzie and Natalia Sheppard who will be representing Great Britain. The preliminary direct elimination will take place shortly after the poules with the round of 64 scheduled to start at 1pm (GMT) on Saturday.
Men’s Foil
Kristjan Archer, James Davis, Richard Kruse, Marcus Mepstead, Ben Peggs and Alex Tofalides will be representing Great Britain in the men’s event which will begin at 6pm (GMT) on Friday. Like the women’s event, the preliminary knockout fights will take place after the poules on Friday with the round of 64 beginning on Sunday at 1pm (GMT).
The later stages of the events will be live streamed on the FIE YouTube Channel.
