BF TRAINING FOR WELFARE OFFICERS
ABOUT THIS COURSE
- BF equivalent to the CPSU Time to Listen course.
- Essential training for any club or event Welfare Officer.
- Useful information for Team Managers.
- Examines the role of a Welfare Officer and how they fit into the wider safeguarding environment.
- 3 hours of study

THIS COURSE AIMS TO
- Describe how a club or event welfare officer works with others to create a participant-centred environment.
- Explain how the club welfare officer role fits into the wider safeguarding environment.
- Apply learning to case studies including sharing good safeguarding practice
ENTRY-LEVEL REQUIREMENT
- 18 years of age and above.

ABOUT THIS COURSE
- Essential training for any club or event Welfare Officer.
- Useful information for Team Managers.
- Useful information for anyone involved in fencing, parents, committee members, helpers etc
- Examines why safeguarding is so important for everyone in fencing.
- 2.5 hours of study

THIS COURSE AIMS TO
- To understand your role in safeguarding and the context that you are working in.
- To identify what needs to be in place to protect children and adults at risk.
- To become familiar with the En Garde! …… Ready? Pack and understand how it can be used.
ENTRY-LEVEL REQUIREMENT
- 16 years of age and above.
- Must hold valid British Fencing membership.
