SAFEGUARD CORE

ABOUT THIS COURSE 

  • Essential training for anyone on a BF Workforce Register
  • Examines the importance of Safeguarding in everyone’s role
  • 3 hours of study
  • Cost per person: £25 (last update: 8th July 2022)

THIS COURSE AIMS TO 

  • Understand that SafeGuarding is everybody’s responsibility
  • Understand  that SafeGuarding runs through everything that BF and its membership are engaged with
  • Contributes to a safe and inclusive culture
  • Develops an understanding of the 4 R’s

ENTRY-LEVEL REQUIREMENT  

  • 16 years of age and above.

 

BF WELFARE OFFICER TRAINING

ABOUT THIS COURSE 

  • Essential training for any club or event Welfare Officer. 
  • Useful information for Team Managers. 
  • Examines the role of a Welfare Officer and how they fit into the wider safeguarding environment. 
  • 3 hours of study
  • Cost per person: £25 (last update: 8th July 2022)

THIS COURSE AIMS TO 

  • Describe how a club or event welfare officer works with others to create a participant-centred environment.
  • Explain how the club welfare officer role fits into the wider safeguarding environment.
  • Apply learning to case studies including sharing good safeguarding practice 

ENTRY-LEVEL REQUIREMENT  

  • 18 years of age and above.
