
Accreditation is now open for coaches planning to support fencers at the 2026 British Youth Championships. Apply before 21st April, 5pm.
BF has opened applications for coach accreditation at the British Youth Championships (BYC), taking place on 2nd-4th May 2026 at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) Sheffield, Coleridge Road, Sheffield, S9 5DA. All coaches must complete accreditation before arriving at the venue.
Coaches based outside the UK who are supporting GBR athletes at domestic events should contact BF via the Development Team email for specific guidance.

Coaches must leave the Field of Play once bouts conclude, and accreditation lanyards must be visible at all times.
Breaches of BF’s Code of Conduct may result in accreditation being revoked and GBR Coach Licences being suspended. Guidance can be found on the BF Code of Conduct page.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday 21 April 2026 at 5pm. Applications submitted after this point may still be processed during the competition but will incur a higher fee.
Accreditation passes and lanyards should be collected from the event desk on arrival. Lanyards do not need to be returned after the event as they are event‑specific.
