Following on from the PM’s announcement yesterday, the UK Government today published guidance in regards to the easing of restrictions.
The bulk of this advice does not affect the current sport specific advice we have previously issued to date. We are expecting further guidance specifically for sport to be published later in the week.
Importantly for those members of our community that are continuing in their efforts to stay fit and active: “you can exercise outside as often as you wish and from Wednesday 13 May, you can also sit and rest outside – exercise or recreation can be alone, with members of your household, or with one other person from outside your household, while keeping two metres apart at all times”.
We will provide more clarity on what opportunities this may open up for coaches and training as we have it.
