Please see the below information on the entry process for the upcoming EFC Eurofence League (London) 2026 competition, which will take place in February 2026.
An EFC Eurofence League foil competition, organised by Fencers Club London, will take place in on 14th February 2026. The reglement (containing the competition details) has now be published, and can be found here. This is a nominated event for Juniors.
The entry process for this competition will differ slightly from the standard process for individual entries to EFC, FIE and domestic events. This event is subject to the BF Selection Policy, and therefore the ranking eligibility criteria applies. However, to support this event, BF are accepting discretionary applications from those who do not meet the ranking criteria.
If you wish to enter this competition, do not use the standard individual entry request form that is used for EFC and FIE events, or the discretionary application form. Instead, you will need to complete the entry request form that has been created specifically for this event here. This one form should be used for both those who meet the eligibility criteria, and those who are requesting a discretionary place.
British Fencing have agreed to provide referees for this event as part of our support for this UK based event. Please refer to the competition regulations for detailed information regarding athletes’ responsibilities related to referees. Any queries not related to the entry process should be directed to the event organisers (using the contact details on the reglement) rather than BF.
If you have already submitted an entry request using the standard individual entry request form, you do not need to submit a second request using the revised form. You will receive an invitation via Sport:80 in due course.
