Fencer Chris Hay, a Biology student and Santander sports scholar at the University, won the men’s award for February after taking epee gold at the BUCS Championships.
Judo player Ben Fletcher collected the men’s award for March after winning medals at three major international tournaments on successive weekends. He started with gold at the Pan American Open in Uruguay, followed by bronze at the Pam Am Open in Argentina and then bronze at the European Cup in Bosnia.
