Congratulations you are now a registered Team Manager. For the first register you are on your name will appear in blue and then in black from thereon.
One or several pieces of documentation for registration is out of date or missing. You should have received an email recently explaining this and how to go about renewing your documents. If you have not received an email please contact the BF Workforce Coordinator.
You have received this email because according to our records one/several of your registration documents expire in three months and will require renewing shortly.
To avoid being removed from the register, we urge you to address this issue at your next earliest convenience using the instructions in the email.
If you are based in England or Wales please contact [email protected] to request a DBS application form. Please note that we can only send DBS application forms to current members so please ensure that your membership is up to date.
Once you have received the new certificate, you will need to subscribe to the online updating service and email the certificate number, your date of birth and permission for us to check your certificate for us to view your updated certificate. Full information regarding the DBS application process can be found here.
Unfortunately, British Fencing is not registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service to accept checks obtained through other organisations e.g. schools unless you have registered with the online updating service.
We therefore require you to complete a DBS check through British Fencing. Please note that you must be a current member of British Fencing to receive a DBS application form.
Current and potential Team Managers in Northern Ireland and Scotland need to complete their equivalent criminal records checks: Access NI and DisclosureScotland.
The DBS application and annual online update service annual renewal checks for volunteers are free
