Senior European Championships 2021 Selections

BF announces the athletes selected to represent GBR at the Senior European Championships 2021

Selections for the upcoming Senior European Championships have been made according to the criteria published in the Board approved Senior European Championships Selection Policy.

These are now published (subject to the result of appeals).

All selections are subject to athlete’s fitness and provision of a suitable training and competition plan up to the event.

Selection Panel:

The selection decision was made by the ADP GBR Selection Panel  according to the process laid out in the Selection Policy. The members of the panel were:

The panel met on 21st April 2021.

 

Appeals:

The BF Appeal Policy and Procedure published here sets out the framework process that will be followed. Athletes have 2 working days to submit their notices of appeal.

 

Date of Event:

In light of the ongoing uncertainty in relation to the hosting of the event, athletes will not be asked to accept selection until BF receive the invitation letter from the EFC. However, all selected athletes are expected to continue training for international level competition and provide BF with copies of their training plans. BF reserves the right to de-select any athlete that is unable to maintain and evidence a satisfactory level of fitness or training in accordance with the eligibility criteria within the Selection Policy,
