Please see the update below on Sport:80 trip invitations to upcoming EFC and FIE competition selections and adjustments made to entry closing dates due over the 2025 Christmas period.
The British Fencing offices will be closed from 17:00 on Wednesday, 24th December 2025, and reopen at 09:00 on Monday, 5th January 2026.
Several selections due within this period will be published, and invitations will be sent out before the office closes for the Christmas break. Those selected and planning to accept their place at these competitions can now start exploring travel options and book transport and accommodation requirements (where relevant). We invite fencers, parents and coaches to book now to benefit from better travel rates.

During this period, there are also a number of non-nominated and development events with entry closing dates that fall while the office is closed. As a result, we have adjusted the entry deadlines to ensure we have sufficient time to process all entries before the Christmas break.
