We would not be able to host our events without such an amazing team of volunteers who give their time to fencing events.

We offer a variety of roles including DT Team, Floor Team, Accreditation Team, Check-In/Help Desk, Media Team and Armoury.

Current volunteering opportunities:

British Open Championships (4th-5th July, EIS, Sheffield)

The organising team for the British Open Championships in Sheffield is excited to welcome new and existing volunteers, who will all play an important role in helping to support the running of the competition.

All volunteers will be provided with training prior to the event, giving you the knowledge and skills needed to fulfil the various roles throughout the competition.

Para Fencing European Championships (6th-11th October 2026, Cardiff)

The organising team for the 2026 Para Fencing European Championships in Cardiff is excited to welcome new and existing volunteers, who will all play an integral part in delivering a world-class experience for athletes, support staff, officials and spectators.

All volunteers will be provided with training prior to the event, giving you the knowledge and skills needed to fulfil the various roles throughout the competition.
