British Fencing is joining other sports in setting up a Youth Panel and is looking for volunteers from our U23 GB athletes to take part. Youth Panels are a great way of making sure your views and concerns are heard by those making the decisions about how you are supported and what resources you get.  We need your ideas and feedback to help drive the change that makes the experience of representing your country at Cadet and Junior level as great as possible

We will meet on a regular basis and discuss what’s important to you. We want you to help us create a Youth Charter – what commitments do you want from British Fencing, our clubs and our officials? How do they line up with the commitments that our international Cadet and Junior athletes need to make? What should the experience of our current and future international  athletes be? What changes should we make? This is your chance to have a voice!

If you are enthusiastic and passionate about representing your country, are well organised and want to develop your leadership skills, we’d love to hear from you. We need volunteers from each of the 6 weapons who have GB representation at Cadet or Junior World Championships over the past 3 years. Please email [email protected] to register your interest, we’d love to hear from you!
