FOLLOW THE ACTION: 2026 BRITISH OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Where to find the results, photos, and an accreditation and access pass reminder for the 2026 British Open Championships weekend, taking place on 4th-5th July in Sheffield.

This year’s British Open Championships are taking place on 4th-5th July at EIS Sheffield. This weekend’s events include:

  • British Open Senior Championships
  • British Open Wheelchair Championships
  • British Open U14 Championships

There will be a plate competition for the Open Senior Championships. There will be no plate competition for the Open U14 and Wheelchair Championships.

Day 1 – Saturday:

  • Senior Mixed/Men’s Foil

  • U14 Women’s Sabre
  • Wheelchair Women’s Epee
  • Wheelchair Mixed/Men’s Epee
  • U14 Women’s Foil
  • U14 Mixed/Men’s Epee

Day 2 – Sunday:

  • Senior Women’s Sabre
  • Wheelchair Mixed/Men’s Sabre
  • Senior Women’s Foil
  • Wheelchair Women’s Sabre
  • Senior Mixed/Men’s Epee
  • U14 Mixed/Men’s Foil
  • U14 Mixed/Men’s Sabre
  • U14 Women’s Epee
  • Wheelchair Mixed/Men’s Foil
  • Wheelchair Women’s Foil

Accreditation and Access Passes

Accreditation and access passes are designed to provide a positive and safe experience at events for all involved, including athletes, volunteers, referees, coaches, and spectators. Accreditation supports the smooth running of an event by maintaining crowd control, safety, and safeguarding.

We ask everyone attending the event to support the accreditation system by:

Collection of the lanyard and passes will be available from the event desk. Accreditation and access passes are not transferable. The lanyard and pass must be visible at all times.

There will be no livestreaming at this event. The finals of each event will be recorded and uploaded to the BF YouTube channel as soon as possible after the final.
