PARA FENCING AT THE 2022 BRITISH SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

Schedule and entry information announced for Para Fencing events at the 2022 British Senior Championships. 

Entries have opened for Para Fencing Events at the Senior Nationals 2022.

Competition Details below:

Dates: 4-5^th June 2022

Venue: EIS Sheffield, Coleridge Road, Sheffield, S9 5DA

Schedule:

Each event will start roughly 15-30 minutes after check in time has closed. There will be a gap of at least an hour between the finals of the Foil events and the start of the Sabre event.

Categories A and B will be amalgamated into one competition for all events.

Format: One round of Poules with all progressing to the DE.

Format may be subject to change depending on final entry numbers.

How to enter:

Entries are open via the events section on Sport80- You can log into your BF Membership account here. 

1. Log into your Sport80 account
2. Select Events from the Left-Hand Side Bar
3. Search using the search bar or scroll down the list to find the ‘2022 British Senior Championships’ Event
4. Click on the Enter button on the event row
5. Event information can be found on the Event Info Tab, click next at the bottom of the page or click the Athlete Entries Tab on the top of the page
6. Click add new entry (+ button to the right of the screen)
7. Search/Select the Athlete name to add and click the ‘+ ADD’ Button followed by the next button
8. Select the Weapon(s) you wish to enter (all listed as £25 per entry, see information below on discount code for entering three weapons)
9. Follow the on-screen instructions for club information and certification
10. To add to your basket and make payment to confirm entry, select the checkout button
11. This will take you to your basket (which can also be found as the trolley icon on the top right hand of the screen) and complete the checkout steps
12. After checkout/payment is complete, you will receive an email from Sport80 confirming entry details

 

Discount Code for Entering 3 Weapons

Each weapon entry is £25, if entering all three weapons, there is a discount code which can be applied at the checkout for a £25 reduction in entry fee (enter 3 weapons for the price of two / third Weapon free)

Weapons Control

There will be no weapons control at this event, standard equipment checks will take place by referees on piste.

Accreditation

There will be an accreditation system in place at this event to access the Field of Play. To apply, please click here. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Tuesday 31st May.

Entry Fee Support Scheme: BF is mindful of the rising costs of attending fencing events and the potential barrier to participation this creates for some members of our community. As a result, BF is offering a limited number of free entries. These will be offered based on financial need, not on ability.  This scheme will cover 100% of the entry fee cost.
