Nominations are open for the British Fencing Community Awards 2023-24.
This week, we will be delving into the Performance Athlete of the Year award and what criteria a nominee for the award should meet.
The annual British Fencing Community Awards recognise the best of our clubs, coaches, fencers, and volunteers and their contribution to fencing. Due it being an Olympic and Paralympic year, this awards period will cover the 1st September 2023 to the 7th September 2024 to recognise this.
BF members (all membership types) can nominate members of the community via the online nomination form. From the nominations, a shortlist of nominees will be produced. An independent panel will then select the winners of the BF Awards 2023-24.

Pier Gilliver was voted Performance Athlete of the Year 2022-23.
