Becoming a Team Manager

There are two levels of Team Manager training available:

Domestic Team Manager training is a fully online on-demand training module.

This is designed for club Team Managers escorting athletes to domestic competitions or camps, including overnight stays.

To access the course you need to be a member of BF – the minimum membership level required is a Supporter membership. If you are not already a member, you can join here.

Once you have completed this training if you wish to be registered and appear on the TM register you must also

  • Be over 18 – the legal minimum age to have responsibility for minors is 18.
  • Hold a valid criminal records check – for more information, click here.
  • Hold a valid Safeguarding certificate – for more information about approved courses click here

Once you have completed the Domestic Module you will be able to register for the International Team Manager training.
