British Fencing manages all membership on behalf of the Home Countries.

How to Join or Renew Your Membership

Types of Membership

The cost and type of membership varies according to which Home Country you need to join.
The Home Country you should join usually depends on where you live. If you wish to represent another Home Country because of where you were born or ancestry then there are some restrictions and rules.

ENGLAND FENCING

Membership Benefits:

  • Personal accident (cover ceases at 75 and is limited for U16) & civil liability insurance cover (there is no age limit in respect of the Public/Civil Liability cover for members). 
  • The Sword magazine
  • Members Over 18: Notices of general meetings;. right to vote at general meetings and right to vote in ballots for election of directors.
  • Competitions: All relevant British and International events. Subject to age restrictions and any restrictions imposed by the Organiser.

GUERNSEY UNION D'ESCRIME LBG

Membership Benefits:

  • Personal accident (cover ceases at 75 and is limited for U16) & civil liability insurance cover
  • The Sword magazine
  • Members Over 18: Notices of general meetings;. right to vote at general meetings and right to vote in ballots for election of directors.
  • Competitions: All relevant British and International events. Subject to age restrictions and any restrictions imposed by the Organiser.

JERSEY FENCING

Membership Benefits:

NORTHERN IRELAND FENCING

  • Competitions: All relevant British and International events. Subject to age restrictions and any restrictions imposed by the Organiser.

SCOTTISH FENCING

Membership Benefits:

Personal accident cover (cover ceases at age 75) and civil liability insurance cover. "The Point" and "The Sword" magazines, notices of General Meetings (and the right to vote at General Meetings if over 18), access to appropriate courses, £5.00 discount voucher for (SF-run) competition entry (first-time members only), participation in Scottish teams and squads (if selected).

WELSH FENCING

Membership Benefits:
